Our Traditional Hereford cattle graze all year on our herb rich grasses on the Lambourn Downs. Our beef is 100% grass fed – this has wide-ranging benefits for our cattle, our land and for the quality of the meat produced.
The benefits of pasture fed beef shines through in the nutritional value and flavour of the meat.

It has higher levels of omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins and minerals than grain fed animals. This delivers a delicious richness and depth of flavour, reflecting the natural goodness of the landscapes the animals are grazed on. Our animals eat the diet which they have evolved to, this means they lead longer and healthier lives with much less stress than intensively reared animals.

Our meat is hung 28-days, the ageing process intensifies the beefy flavour. As the moisture is lost the meat becomes more tender as the muscle fibers start to naturally break down. Our beef is processed by long trusted, J Broomhall Master Butchers and delivered back to the farm perfectly prepared and vac packed and ready for sale.
Our farm shop is open Thursday afternoon 4-6pm and Saturday mornings 10am – 1pm.
Outside of these times you are welcome to come to the farm to buy our beef at anytime but please phone first – 07836 657 357.
