Our animals are raised naturally and graze on our farm all year around. During the winter months, they are supplemented with the best home produced hay, resulting in the best beef and lamb
you will ever taste.

Traditional Herefords

Traditional Herefords are a breed with a wealth of history. They were originally bred to utilize the natural environment. In the 1950’s, with the advent of the scientists in animal production, the emphasis moved to high input and output farming. This change involved the extensive use of cereal-based diets to produce beef intensively. Our Traditional Herefords are from the original
blood lines, dating back to the 17th century. They mature at their own pace, on pasture alone.
They produce a delicious tasting marbled meat.

BRUNSKILL BEEF

Our animals are taken to a small processing plant who offer a completely stress free environment. The meat is hung for 28 days, are expertly cut and vacuum-packed by their butcher and then delivered to Farncombe Farm, to be sold from the farm door.
